Dir Agriculture holds employees Darbar at Lalmandi Srinagar

SRINAGAR: The Director of Agriculture Kashmir Chowdhury Mohammad Iqbal presided over an Employees Darbar at Agriculture Complex Lalmandi Srinagar to take stock of the issues of employees of the department.

Joint Director Agriculture Extension G M Dhobi, Joint Director Agriculture Inputs Tabassum Naz and some other senior officers of the department were present on the occasion.

Addressing the occasion, Chowdhury Iqbal underscores the significance of employees Darbar in strengthening direct communication between the employees and the administration of the department.

Different employees individually and in the form of delegations brought their issues to the director’s notice and also presented memoranda.

The director of Agriculture appreciated the role of employees in the socio-economic transformation of the farming community of the region. He said the role played by the employees of the department in bringing the benefits of different centrally sponsored schemes to the farmers is remarkable. He said the moral as well as professional duty of senior officers of the department to look into the issues of their sub-ordinate staff.

All concerns were meticulously recorded by the Director of Agriculture Kashmir for immediate redressal and some of the issues were redressed on the spot.
