Srinagar: A motorcyclist died and two pillion riders were injured in a road accident in the Sopore area of north Kashmir on Saturday.
Reports said the accident took place in the Saidpora bypass area when a motorcycle rammed into an electric pool resulting in serious injuries to the rider and two of his other pillion mates.
Reports added that all the three were rushed to sub-district hospital Sopore, where one of them succumbed to his injuries.
A doctor identified the deceased as Danish Ahmad and the injured as Aqib Ahmad and Tawheed Ahmad, residents of Janwara.
Police have registered a case in the incident.
