Narvaw Literary Society organises “Narwavuk Milchaar”

Baramulla: The Narvaw Literary Society, a beacon of art, culture, and literature on Sunday, organized an event titled “Narwavuk Milchaar” – the Narvaw Collective – to bridge gaps in society. 

The impressive event brought together people from various sections of society, uniting them to interact and share their ideas, with a common aim of bridging the gaps created by present social disintegration and distractions.

Renowned London-based advocate, poet and writer Ershad Milk was the guest of honour. Esteemed personalities, thinkers, writers, lawyers, journalists, poets, and individuals from diverse sections and sectors congregated to sit together, fostering the hope of a brighter tomorrow for Narvaw.

The organiser of the event and head of Narvaw Literary Society Manzoor Ahmad Rather Narvaw Walla said that the event showcased the society’s unwavering commitment to its objectives of building social bonds. The Narvaw Literary Society’s primary objective is to unite the people enabling them to get to know each other better and form strong relationships within the community.

Besides, he said that at the heart of the society’s mission is the promotion of knowledge sharing and expertise exchange among its members, creating a thriving intellectual environment.

The speakers admired and acknowledged the efforts which encouraged education. The Society actively supports and encourages young members of the community to pursue higher education and excel in competitive exams.

Speaking on the occasion Narvaw Walla said that a significant focus of the Narvaw Literary Society is to uplift the lives of those belonging to underprivileged classes, particularly students, by devising means and strategies for their betterment.

“Beyond education, the society dedicates its efforts to contribute to the overall development of Narvaw, striving to make it a better place for all its residents,” he added.
