Srinagar: Vehicular traffic on Srinagar-Jammu national highway was restored on Monday afternoon after authorities cleared debris from a landslide in the Banihal area.
Earlier traffic was suspended on the highway due to landslides in the Shalgiri area of Banihal.
Meanwhile authorities today suspended vehicular traffic on Mughal road following fresh snowfall in the Pir ki Gali area on the historic thoroughfare.
Traffic authorities in Rajouri-Poonch said that snowfall in Pir Ki Gali and adjoining areas and slippery conditions on the road have forced the suspension of traffic on the Mughal road.
They added that traffic will resume subject to improvement in weather conditions.
