JDI Mohammad Aslam awarded Certificate of Appreciation for his contribution to Shramadaan Swachh Bharat

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Sunday awarded a Certificate of Appreciation to Joint Director Information Kashmir, Mohammad Aslam for his contribution to Shramdaan for Swachh Bharat under an initiative of Swachh Bharat Mission.

The selfless contribution of JDI Kashmir for advocating & fostering the environment of cleanliness at different forums and under his official capacity has been given recognition by the J&K Government.

The Deputy Director of Information & PR; Assistant Director Field Publicity Unit, Cultural Officer and other staff members congratulated the Joint Director for the achievement and acknowledgement of his endeavours in the Swachch Bharat Mission.

Mohammad Aslam has been very particular about sanitation and a neat & clean environment as he puts emphasis on the disposal of waste in an eco-friendly way to reduce pollution.

Meanwhile, Joint Directorate Information Kashmir under the leadership of JDI, Mohammad Aslam today conducted a cleanliness drive in the office premises and in the vicinity under the Swachtwa Hi Sewa campaign and under the Ek Ghanta Ek Tareekh Ek Saath programme.

All the officers and officials of the department participated in the cleanliness drive and collected the plastic & other solid waste material which was later disposed of in a proper manner.

On the occasion, the Swachtwa Pledge was also held to ensure cleanliness in the surroundings and protect the environment from pollution.
