Army vehicle crushes forest officer to death in Handwara

Ramban: A policeman was killed and three other persons were injured when a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident near dam site in Chanderkot area of Ramban district on Wednesday, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a police van, on way from Ramban to Rajgarh, veered off road and fell into a gorge near dam site in Chandrrkot area.

He said that in the incident a cop died on the spot while three others were injured, who have been shifted to a nearby healthcare facility.

The deceased cop has been identified as Swami Raj, while injured has been identified as Sewa Singh, Parvaiz Ahmad and Joginder Singh—(KNO)
