Secretary Tourism Abid Rasheed Shah bereaved

Srinagar: Syed Abdul Rasheed Shah, retired Divisional Forest Officer and father of Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Secretary Tourism and Culture passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday.

His funeral prayers were offered at Peerbagh in which people from all walks of life participated.

The ‘Fateha Khwani’ (Chahrum) will be observed on Saturday at 11 am at their ancestral graveyard Nishat and then at J-55 Govt Quarters Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar.

People from various social, political and cultural organisations have offered their condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

Kashmir Images also condoles the sad demise and expresses solidarity with the bereaved.
