Integrity pledge ceremony held at PHQ

Srinagar: The Director General of Police, J&K, Dilbag Singh, led the officers and jawans of Police Headquarters in a pledge-taking ceremony on ‘Day of Resolution for Freedom from Corruption’ at Police Auditorium Srinagar here today.

ADGP Headquarters/Coordination (PHQ), Shri M K Sinha administered oath to the police officers and personnel on the occasion.

The pledge-taking ceremony was attended by DGP, J&K, and ADGP Hqrs/Coord. PHQ by IGP Hqrs/CIV PHQ B S Tuti, all AIsG of Police, PHQ, and officers and personnel of PHQ.

During the ceremony, the officers & personnel took the pledge that, they shall promote ethical business practices and foster a culture of honesty and integrity, that they shall not offer or accept bribes, that they commit to good corporate governance based on transparency, accountability and fairness, that they shall adhere to relevant laws, rules and compliance mechanisms in the conduct of business, that they shall adopt a code of ethics for all their employees, that they shall sensitize their employees of laws, regulations, etc. relevant to their work for honest discharge of their duties, that they shall provide grievance redressal and Whistle Blower mechanism for reporting grievances and fraudulent activities and that they shall protect the rights and interests of stakeholders and the society at large.
