‘Apni Party continues to attract new members in Batamaloo’

Srinagar: A group of young political workers from Srinagar’s Batmaloo constituency, on Monday, joined Apni Party during an event organized at the party headquarters at M2, Church Lane, in Srinagar.

The joinees included Danish Khan, Irfan Malik, Fayaz Khan, and others. Party’s senior leader and Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir gave them a warm welcome into the party fold, a press note said.

On this occasion, Mir addressed the new members, providing them with an overview of the party’s goals and principles, saying, “Apni Party has basically been established to protect the fundamental and constitutional rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. We will always stand by our people, even in difficult times, as we did post-August 2019 when the entire erstwhile state was under great chaos and uncertainty.”

“We will strive for sustainable peace, enduring prosperity, and equivalent development in this region. Also, we have a well-defined vision to ensure the economic and political empowerment of the people in Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.

Besides Mohammad Ashraf Mir, the prominent party leaders who were present on the occasion included the party’s State Convenor, Haji Parvaiz Ahmad; the General Secretary of the party’s Youth Wing and in charge of Eidgah constituency, Mohammad Ashraf Palpori; the In-charge of Srinagar’s Khanyar Constituency and the District President Youth Wing Srinagar, Mohsin Zaffar Shah; the Ward President of Rajbagh, Aijaz Ahmad Mir; Senior Leader Bilal Khan; and others.
