Srinagar: Police have arrested four drug peddlers in Sopore and recovered psychotropic substances from their possession, police spokesman informed Sunday.
He said at a checkpoint established at Railway crossing Amargarh, police intercepted four persons and recovered 984 tablets of SpasmoProxyvon Plus from their possession.
Identified as Zubair Ahmad Ganie, son of Ghulam Muhammad of Badambagh Sopore; Junaid Ahmad Shah, son of Ghulam Nabi of Neharpora Sopore; Muhammad Asif Mir, son of Mushtaq Ahmad of Shalpora Sopore; and Rouf Ahmad Chopan, son of Muhammad Subhan of Lolab Kupwara – all four person were arrested and a case registered for further investigation, police said.
