To encourage the local talent, ace Kashmiri Cyclist Adnan Bashir who was the winner of Ride Kashmir Cycle Rally 2022 edition, was felicitated on this occasion.

He has made his mark in National Championships and excelled in Stairclimbing World Championship 2022.

The master cyclist was gifted with a professional cycle. Soon after the inauguration, 18 energetic cyclists hit the road of Baramulla thus spreading the word of a pollution-free environment.

The rally cycled up to Eco Park and planned for greater distances in days to come. Such noble and thoughtful initiative by the Indian Army is ought to change the very outlook of Kashmir, wherein the women and youth will depend more on cycles and green energy for a better tomorrow.
