Intra College T20 Men’s Cricket Tournament kickstarts at S.P. College main ground

SRINAGAR: Principal S.P. College, Prof. Prof (Dr) Ghulam Jeelani Qureshi today inaugurated Intra College T20 Men’s Cricket tournament at S.P. College main ground here.

The tournament is being organized by the Department of Physical Education. The first match of the tournament was played between Students of the Physics Department and Students of the Information Technology

The Principal, who was also Chief Guest at the inaugural function, said that this will provide an opportunity for the sportspersons from all the Departments of the college to showcase their talent and compete with the best of the lot.

He said that it is high time that we garner the talent of our youth and build sportsmanship characters in them.

Speaking on the occasion Secretary Sports, Cluster University Srinagar Dr.Khursheed Parray, who was also Guest of the Honour for the event said that the college is committed to providing National level sports infrastructure with a view to organizing high-end competition in the college to harness the potential of budding sportspersons.
