Srinagar: A Katra resident was found in Batamallo area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Saturday afternoon.
An official told the news agency KNO that a 40-year-old man was found unconscious at Batamallo bus stand following which police were informed.
He said that the man, identified as Rakesh Kumar, resident of Katra, was shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have started an investigation in this regard.
