Jammu: The Director General of Police Dilbag Singh greeted Police Pariwar and the people of Jammu and Kashmir at the commencement of the holy month of Ramzan.
In his message, DGP said that the holy month of Ramzan is a period dedicated to fasting, service, and prayers besides teaching us the value of patience, and self-restraint besides promoting feelings of compassion and respect for others.
He hoped that this auspicious period would be a harbinger of peace, amity, communal harmony, and brotherhood and will bring progress and prosperity to Jammu and Kashmir.
He also prayed for the well-being of the people of UT.
