The internship program provides an opportunity for young minds to gain valuable experience, develop their skills, and contribute meaningfully towards the implementation of the Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen Phase-II.

The participants will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of the Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen Phase-II, such as community mobilization, behavior change communication, and capacity building. The program aims to provide them with hands-on experience, which will help them understand the ground realities and challenges of rural sanitation in India.

Interested candidates can apply for the internship through the form available at https://forms.gle/4DQqkcF1EuwZH3hz5.

Additionally, the terms and conditions of the internship can be downloaded from the Directorate of Rural Sanitation website at drsjk.jk.gov.in or through the link: https://t.ly/PsNU.

The last date for applying for the Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen internship is 20-03-2023. The nomination of the applicants shall be made by the parent institutions and after the screening of the applicants they will be given an orientation before assigning them a village for carrying out the activities.

Pertinently, the Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen is a flagship program aimed at improving sanitation and hygiene standards in rural areas of the country. The program focuses on constructing toilets, promoting behavior change, and ensuring sustainability through community participation mainly on account of Solid Waste Management, Grey Water Management, Plastic Waste Management and Gobardhan projects.

With the launch of Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen Internship-2023, the Directorate of Rural Sanitation seeks to involve youth in this noble endeavor for massive community mobilization to make the mission a Jan Andolan.
