‘Annual Change of Guard for CII J&K Council’: Archit Puri elected Chairman, Syed Junaid Altaf Vice Chairman in J&K

Srinagar: Confederation of Indian Industries J&K Council held its Annual Session on Monday. 

Archit Puri was elected Chairman and Syed Junaid Altaf was elected as Vice Chairman of CII J&K Council for the year 2023- 24.

Archit Puri is the Director of PBI India Pvt. Ltd., which is a leading food product manufacturing company”. He joined PBI India in 2011 and ever since has been instrumental in building and leading the company successfully. PBI India is into flour milling and manufactures wheat flour, multipurpose flour, semolina, porridge, and bran. Archit earned a Computer Engineering degree from The University of Manchester, United Kingdom. He was key in building the foundation of Indian Society as it is in the university today. He also led the Administration and Accommodation Student body organization as the Vice President. He is a technologist at heart with a strong focus on a results-oriented approach, and a people person

Syed Junaid Altaf is the Group Executive Director of FIL Industries and Managing Director of Empyrean Skyview Projects Private Limited [ESPPL], CEO and Director – Mussoorie Skycar Private Limited [MSPL], Co-Founder, Lead Investor, and Director-Sanctus Healthcare Private Limited. ESSPL, MSPL, and Sanctus Healthcare are subsidiaries of FIL Industries.

In the early part of his career, Junaid has worked in New York, USA with CIBC World Markets Corp./Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., as M&A Analyst and as well as with UBS Financial Services.

Junaid holds an MSc in Financial Management & Risk Engineering from Imperial College London and a BSc Business Administration with a major in Finance from Washington University in St Louis, USA. He is also an alumnus of St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, and The Doon School in India.

Junaid is Vice-Chairman of the Mobility Committee of the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and also Member – Northern Region, Tourism & Hospitality Committee, CII; Member – Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), New Delhi Chapter; Member – Vistage Asia, Malaysia Chapter, Member of the Indian Public Schools Society (IPSS) and Vice President of the Executive Committee of the Doon School Old Boys Society (DSOBS). He is a Fellow of the Kamalnayan Bajaj Fellowship for Leadership of the Ananta Aspen Centre, Delhi, and is also a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
