I am myself supervising the treatment of patients. So far 130 patients have been diagnosed with of gastroenteritis. The patients have been treated by doctors in our PHC Sheeri and by medical teams in the villages, said Blocak Medical Officer Sheeri Dr. Farooq Ahmed Sheikh.

“We advise people to drink boiled water and use chlorine tables. We have informed the concerned authorities to collect water samples so that cause of outbreak is ascertained,” Dr. Farooq added.
