North Kashmir’s famous cricketer Lone Tahir succumbs to injuries
Condolences pour in from across Valley
Baramulla: A-25-year-old well known cricketer of Baramulla district, Lone Tahir, breathed his last on Wednesday after he fell off from second storey of his house.
Two days after he fell off from a second storey of his house in DangiwachaWatergam of Baramulla district, the 25-year-old youth succumbed to his injuries at SK Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) on Wednesday morning, officials told the Kashmir News Service.
“He was was shifted to a nearby hospital where from he was referred to SKIMS Srinagar for advanced treatment, they said. “However, the injured youth succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday at SKIMS Soura,” they added.
Several Cricket Associations and the cricketers, Trade Unions as well as common people from Kashmir valley expressed their condolences on different social networking sites.
Affarwat-XI Sports Club, Mahayan-XI Tangmarg CC, Baramulla Cricket Forum, Sultan Warriors Baramulla, Kandi Cricket Association, Sopore Cricket Association, Shaheen Sports Association Chanderhama, Management Of Rehman T20 Andergam, Sports Association Tarzova, Management of Janwara Premiere League, Young Warriors Cricket Club Zogiyar too expressed their condolences to the family of Tahir and also prayed to Almighty Allah to grant him highest place in Jannah and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
The deceased was the brother of Senior Trade Union Leader of Baramulla Dangiwacha Shahnawaz Ahmad Lone.
