Border Killings: Youth Congress protest during PM’s visit

Jammu May 19 :  Hundreds of Youth Congress activists staged a protest demonstration here today during the visit of Prime Minister Narinder Modi to lodge resentment over the continued causalities of jawans and civilians in record number of ceasefire violations and heavy shelling by Pakistan.

Led by IYC Secretary In-charge J&K affairs, Sheshpal Singh and Pradesh Youth Congress President Pranav Shagotra, a larger number of  Youth Congress activists staged protest demonstration near Press Club Jammu here today raising slogans against Pakistan for unprovoked firing and questioning Modi government for its failure to effectively deal with Pakistan.

They questioned Prime Minister Modi about 56” chest when record number of civilians and Jawans have been martyred during Modi regime in this State.

A large contingent of police force prevented them from proceeding towards Tawi Bridge, a Congress spokesman said in a statement issued here.
