“These political parties have worked to create division which has widened gaps among the people for one reason or the other. However, the Apni Party does not allow any kind of divisive politics. We want to unite the two regions of Jammu and Kashmir and bring all sections of society together,” said Mir.

He said that J&K can progress only when there is peace and it can be ensured by the Apni Party which fought for the justice of the general masses since its foundation when these traditional political parties were not ready to speak for the people.

“It was only the Apni Party that came out in support of the people of J&K and got many issues redressed from the Govt of India. We believe in united Jammu and Kashmir and brotherhood among the people from different communities,” he said.

He further said that “It is important to support the Apni Party for the unity, integrity, and identity of J&K. We did not compromise on the rights of the people and the unemployed youth. We always promise what is achievable and do not play with the emotions of the youth like other traditional political parties.”

Meanwhile, Vice President Usman Majid, said that “We believe that LG rule cannot be an alternative to the democratic Govt. You snatched our statehood and then.”

To end the suffering of the people, he said that “The holding of assembly elections in J&K is a must and the statehood should be restored as early as possible.”

He said that the administration has failed on the ground to deliver, which has given rise to multiple issues and the gap between people and the administration has widened in the last 3 years.

Besides, State General Secretary, Vijay Bakaya appreciated the women’s wing of the Apni Party and the dozens of women who participated in the meeting.

“The support of women shows that the Apni Party has won the hearts of the people and people have hopes for the Party and its leadership,” he added.

He said that “ the Apni Party ensures equal treatment to the women and provides a political platform to them so that they can highlight their demands for their early redressal.”

He said that the Apni Party wants to upgrade the living standard, improve education, health sector facilities and provide road connectivity in the remote villages.
