Dr Sehrish reviews functioning of RDD Baramulla

BARAMULLA: To take a comprehensive and sector wise review of the progress achieved by Rural Development Department (RDD) Baramulla, the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Dr Syed SehrishAsgar today conveyed a meeting of the concerned functionaries at Dak Bungalow, here.

On the occasion, the Assistant Commissioner Development Baramulla appraised the chair regarding the estimation, tendering and allotment, status of all works including DDC/ BDC/PRI grants.

The meeting also discussed detailed proposals under the District Capex Plan, 2021-22 including physical status of projects targeted for completion in the current fiscal and took a comprehensive review on the progress of developmental projects undertaken by various departments.

After taking a comprehensive review, the DC said that district administration is committed to ensure all development projects/works are completed within a set timeline. She stressed on the concerned officers/officials to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of the ongoing works for their time-bound completion and directed for regular monitoring of works.

Dr Sehrish also directed concerned officers to complete the paperwork of pending works at earliest and also asked them to expedite under execution works to meet the target. She also exhorted upon the officers to achieve 100% saturation in all flagship schemes.

The meeting was attended by  Joint Director Planning M Yousuf Rather, ACD Baramulla, Gulzar Ahmad Khan, Executive Engineer, REW Baramulla, BDOs besides other concerned functionaries.
