Srinagar: A policeman died while two others were injured in a road accident in Kanipora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday evening.
Official sources said that a truck hit an alto car at Kanipora bridge in Shopian town injuring all the three boarding the car.
They said that the injured, all three policemen posted at SOG camp Gagran Shopian, were shifted to district hospital Shopian where one among them succumbed to his injuries.
He has been identified as Constable Muzamil Ahmad Dar of Shadab Karewa Shopian.
The injured cops have been identifies as Aman Preet Singh of Reasi and Rahul Kumar of Jammu.
