Srinagar: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has proposed winter vacations in a phased manner from the first week of December for the winter zone of Kashmir division.
Local news agencies reported authorities in the School Education department as saying that a proposal has been submitted to the government for winter vacation of schools in a phased manner.
They said it has been proposed that winter vacations from kindergarten to class 5th commence from December 01 while the winter vacation for class 6th to 8th from December 05 and for classes 9th to 12th from December 10.
