2 persons held for issuing fake movement passes in Kathua

Srinagar, Nov 05: Police in Budgam said it has arrested two accused persons, and recovered stolen property from their possession.

On May 17, 2022, Police Station Chadoora received a written complaint that some thieves entered into premises of two factories at Malik Bagh Kralpora and stole some machinery and equipment from there.

Accordingly, a case was registered and during investigation one accused identified as Bilal Ahmad Dar @Bilal Khar, son of Abdul Ahad Dar of Bilal Colony Qamarwari (at present Shaltang) Srinagar, was arrested. On his disclosure, one more accused identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Khandey, son of Ghulam Mohammad Khandey, resident of Bilal Colony Qamarwari was also arrested, police spokesman said.

He said on their disclosure, stolen property including one gas cylinder, one stabilizer, one cutter, four boxes of welding rods and some copper wire have been recovered from their possession. Further investigation into the matter is going on. More arrests and recoveries are expected, police said.
