Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has greeted the people on the eve of Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).

In a message, the LG said, “On the auspicious occasion of Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of the Holy Prophet (SAW), I convey my greetings and good wishes to all. The Holy Prophet (SAW) showed us the path of compassion, love and righteous living. May his teachings of universal love and compassion guide each one of us to live in harmony and unity and bring peace, prosperity and happiness to all.”

Advisor to LG, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar also extended greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion.

In his greetings, Advisor Bhatnagar said that the message of universal brotherhood, compassion, tolerance and service to humanity preached by the Prophet (SAW) guides and inspires us all to live a righteous and productive life.

The Advisor also prayed for the progress and prosperity of the entire Jammu and Kashmir.
