Besides discussing certain party issues and future strategies in view of the upcoming assembly polls, the participants discussed the ongoing updating of the voter list in J&K. They urged people, especially the party workers at the grass-root level to examine the voter rolls, which the election department is about to put on the public domain.

The leaders said, “Every responsible citizen and a political worker is supposed to be watchful to ensure the accuracy of the list. Neither any eligible voter should be dropped from the list nor should any ineligible person be included in the list.”

They added, “Apni Party workers must be vigilant to assess the voter rolls of their respective areas. Inaccuracies or errors, if any are found, should report to the department by submitting a relevant form.”

The leaders also urged the workers to enhance their political activities and public outreach in their respective areas.
