Kulgam Cricket league concludes; Kulgam Warriors, Kulgam Eleven lift trophies

Srinagar: Valedictory function of the Kulgam Cricket league was held at Sports Stadium Kulgam. The Tournament was organised for Women and specially-abled persons by District Police Kulgam and MC Kulgam in collaboration with Youth services and sports Kulgam at Mini stadium Kulgam.

On the occasion, SSP Kulgam Dr G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy- was the Chief Guest.

Chairman MC Kulgam Muneeb Zargar, DYSSO Kulgam Ghulam Hassan Lone were also present. Senior officers of Police including, DySP Hqrs Kulgam, DySP DAR Kulgam, SHO PS Kulgam were also present on the occasion.

In the Women’s final match, the Kulgam Warriors team came out as winners while in the specially-abled person’s final match, Kulgam Eleven lifted the title.

SSP Kulgam while interacting with participants congratulated their extraordinary efforts put forth by them with which they managed their places in the grand finals of the tournament and assured them that police is always at their door steps for any assistance. A large number of people were present on the occasion to witness the event and expressed their gratitude towards the police and appreciated their role in channelizing the energy of the youth of the district towards sports and other constructive activities.

At the conclusion, the winning teams were awarded cash prizes, trophies, and medals to boost their morale.
