Eight injured in Budhal road accident

Rajouri: At least eight persons were injured in a road accident in Budhal area of Rajouri district on Wednesday.

A minibus was on its way from Budhal to Kotranka when it met with an accident at Kewal area, officials said, adding that the driver lost his control over the vehicle carrying 16 to 20 passengers.

Eight persons were injured in the accident, officials said

The locals and police team of Budhal reached the spot and shifted the injured to PHC Budhal for treatment, sources said.

The injured have been identified as Ajay Kumar, son of Som Raj (16), Abdul Rashid, son of Abdul Aziz (85), Sakina Begum, wife of Abdul Haq (45), Zair Miana, son of Muhammad Abdullah (35), Abdul Shakoor, son of Muhammad Youns (46), Shamim Akhter, wife of Abdul Shakoor (32), Zareena Begum, wife of Sajjad Ahmad (20).
