Omar Abdullah presides over South Zone meeting

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah on Tuesday presided over a meeting of the Party’s South Zone Functionaries, District Presidents, Segment In charges at the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subha.

The meeting was marked by threadbare discussions on party affairs and the evolving political situation. The functionaries also discussed various organisational matters and future courses of action.

Among others Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr Mustafa Kamal, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Women’s wing president Shameema Firdous, party leaders GA Shah, Dr Bashir Ahmed Veeri, Abdul Majeed Larmi, Altaf Ahmed Wani, Ghulam Mohi Ud Din Mir, Showkat Ganaie, Syed Tauqeer, Showkat Mir, Imran Nabi Dar, Salman Ali Sagar, Er. Sabiya Qadri, Mudassar Shahmiri, Reyaz Ahmed Khan, Ghulam Nabi Adigami, Sheikh Muhammad Rafi, Shabir Kullay, Abdul Rehman Tantray, Bilal Ahmed Khanday, Abdul Rasheed Nengroo, Safdar Ali Khan, Mushtaq Ahmed Bhat, Nazir Ahmed Wani Niloora were also present on the occasion. 

The vice president in his response acknowledged the concerns raised by the participants and reiterated that the interest of the people of J&K will be safeguarded at every level.
