In her valedictory remarks, Prof Nilofer said the University will leave no stone unturned in creating facilities and infrastructure to develop a robust sports culture in the main and satellite campuses.

She said the varsity students are extremely talented and should join sports activities to compete at national and international sports events.

She said that the students’ active participation in sports activities at the national level will add to the University’s accreditation and visibility.

Registrar Dr Nisar A Mir was also present on the occasion as a guest of honor.

Dr Mussavir Ahmad, Coordinator DPES, gave a brief about the two tournaments and events which are in the pipeline at the DPES.

The final football match was played between North Campus and the Institute of Technology Zakura, while the final match in the Volleyball was played between North Campus and Physical Education Department. Both matches were won by North Campus which lifted the two trophies.

The winners, runner-up teams, and participants were felicitated by the Vice-Chancellor at the valedictory ceremony, which was attended by Dean Engineering Prof Gowhar Bashir, Director North Campus Prof Pervez Ahmad, and other officers and officials of the University.
