VC KVIB holds interaction with unit holders at I.E Lassipora

PULWAMA: Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat, Vice Chairperson J&K Khadi Village and Industries Board (KVIB) today held an interaction with unit holders at Industrial Estate (I.E) Lassipora Pulwama.

Dr Hina gave the brief about various initiatives being taken up by the government with regard to promoting ‘Ease of Doing Business’. She assured unit holders/ entrepreneurs that the government is committed to extending every type of hand-holding support for the development of the Industrial Sector in UT J&K.

Underlining the need for the inculcation of market-oriented skills among youth, she reiterated that the Board is working in this direction and craft and skill trainings are being undertaken in various districts of UT of J&K. She further added that all possible hand-holding support shall be extended to aspirants so that they are able to set up their own micro-enterprises.

Earlier, the Vice Chairperson visited various units established at Khadermooh, Kakapora and Tahab areas of District Pulwama under employment generation programmes being implemented by the Board and expressed her satisfaction vis-à-vis implementation of these programmes in the district.

She, however, urged District officer KVIB Pulwama to ensure that the benefits of the schemes are percolated among the target population residing in far-flung areas of the district also.
