Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign: JKP organizes various functions across UT

Jammu: Continuing its Har Ghar Tiranga campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Jammu and Kashmir Police organized various programmes across J&K. 

Students, youth, and locals participated in big numbers in these programmes.

Har Ghar Tiranga programmes were organized today by District Police Kulgam, Ganderbal, Kishtwar, Sopore, Budgam, Baramulla, Reasi, Pulwama, Poonch, IRP 14th Bn Channi, IRP 5th Bn Doda, IRP 19th Bn, IR 2nd Bn, JKAP 6th Bn and JKAP 11th Security Humhama.

As a part of the campaign Police and Civil Administration Kulgam organised the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign to encourage the Students and respectable Citizens to hoist the National Flag at their respective homes & offices to promote the spirit of Nationalism. Besides civil/police officers, hundreds of students both from Govt/private educational institutions participated in the rally. The Students also sang patriotic songs on the occasion. 

DC Kulgam Dr Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat along with SSP Kulgam Dr.G.V Sundeep Chakravarty participated in the campaign. On this occasion, SSP Kulgam distributed National Flags among the Students/Officers of civil administration and encouraged all participants/students to hoist the National Flag at their respective homes also.

In Ganderbal, a special Tiranga Rally was taken out from DPL Ganderbal to Beehama Chowk Ganderbal. The rally was flagged off by SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar in which the students and the youth of District Ganderbal participated enthusiastically. The participants in the rally sang the National Anthem, patriotic songs & waved the tricolor. DDCs, BDCs, Sarpanchs and civil society members of District Ganderbal also participated in the programme.

In Sopore, a Tiranga rally was organized from DPL Sopore to Main Chowk Sopore in which officers and Jawans of Sopore Police and students of various schools participated.

In Baramulla, a Tiranga rally was taken out at Pattan in which students of various schools, locals besides the officers of J&K Police participated.

Police in Budgam organized a Tiranga rally at the sports stadium Budgam. Around 500 students from different schools, senior police officers, civil society members were part of the rally. A similar rally was also held in Khansahib jointly by police and civil administration.

In Pulwama, Tiranga rallies were organized across the district. The main rally started from district Jail Pulwama and culminated at Murran chowk Pulwama. Besides officers/officials of Police/CRPF and civil Administration, students of different schools, teachers, employees, youths, respectable, traders association, and transport associations, also participated in the Tiranga rally.

JKAP 11th Security Bn Humhamma organized a Tiranga march which was attended by the locals of the area.

Bandipora police organized a cultural programme as a part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” and “Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign” at Space Age Model Higher Secondary School Kaloosa Bandipora to encourage the students to hoist the National flag at their respective homes to mark the 76th year of India’s Independence and promote the spirit of nationalism.
