Budgam: Two youth died, while another one was grievously injured in a road accident in Khansahib area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday evening.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that three persons, who were riding on a bike, were hit by an unknown vehicle in Khansahib area, leaving them grievously injured.

He said that they were shifted to PHC Panzoo, where from they were reffered to SMHS Srinagar, where two among them succumbed to their injuries.

He identified the deceased as Mohammad Ismail (25) son of Irshad Ahmad and Mohammad Yousuf Lone (26) son of Manzoor Ahmad—both residents of Sitharan village.

The injured youth was identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Lone (24) son of Ghulam Qadir of the same village.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and have started further investigation in this regard
