Srinagar: Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir has urged the administration to build a public park in the Gagribal Buchwara area of Srinagar’s  Dalgate, wherein a piece of land has already been preserved for creating a parking space.

He said that the administration should hear the request of local residents who want both the parking space and a public park to be built on the same piece of land.

Earlier, a delegation from the area called on Ghulam Hassan Mir and requested him to put forward the public demand to the concerned authorities.

“There is a piece of land in the area, which is allotted to build a parking space, but we want half of the land to be used to build a public park for the locals,” the delegation told the Apni Party leader.

They requested him to use his personal influence on putting forward the demand to the concerned authorities.

Ghulam Hassan Mir has urged the administration to look into the request from the residents and ensure that a public park is built in the area.
