Sopore: Affarwat-XI produced an emphatic all-round show to beat city smashers by 78 runs in their second match of Sopore Super League 2018 at Subhan Stadium Sopore on Saturday.
After winning the toss, Affarwat-XI opted to bat first and set a target of 189 runs in allotted 35 overs with Ashiq, Bilal, Imtiyaz Reshi,Suhail, Latif and Skipper Showkat playing splendid individual innings.
In reply City smashers were bundled out for 110 runs in 22.3 overs, with Mujeeb’s half century. Showkat Scalped 4 wickets while Bilal took 3 wickets to set up a comfortable win for Affarwat-XI. Showkat was adjudged man of the match for his superlative performance with both bat and ball.
