Kashmiri Pandit employees’ protest continues of 7th day

Srinagar: Protests by Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) over the killing of Rahul Bhat continued for the seventh consecutive day in various parts of Kashmir as the protesting employees held a candle light protest march from Sheikhpora to Humhama in Budgam.

Kashmiri Pandits, mostly government employees, who are on a sit-in at Pandit colony Sheikhpora against the killing for the last seven days, have been demanding their relocation to safe environment.

Protesters continued their sit-in for the day and in the evening they started their march towards Humhama Airport road while holding candles.

After marching peacefully to Hamama Chowk, the protesters returned back to Pandit Colony, Sheikhpora, peacefully.
