Mother-son duo traced within 6 hours in Budgam: Police

Srinagar: Police in Budgam claimed to have traced a mother along with her minor son within 06 hours after a missing complaint was received.

“Police Station Khag received a written complaint from Ghulam Hassan Hajam of Sugen Khag stating therein that his wife, an actual resident of West Bengal along with his 08 year old son went missing on 10/05/2022 since 11:00 hours,” said a police spokesperson.

“Accordingly, a missing report was lodged in PS Khag & search was launched swiftly by a team of PS Khag headed by SHO Khag,” the spokesperson said.

“After strenuous efforts and utilizing all available technical as well as human resources, the missing lady & her son was traced from Mahraj Gunj area of Srinagar within 06 hours after missing complaint was received. After completion of all legal formalities the duo was handed over to her legal heirs,” he said.
