Police felicitates National KickBoxing Championship participants in Bandipora

Srinagar: Police in Bandipora organised a felicitation ceremony at DPL Bandipora for participants of National KickBoxing Championship held at Himachal Pradesh.

The felicitation ceremony was attended by SSP Bandipora Mohammad Zahid, DySP DAR DPL Bandipora and other officers of the district.

The main objective of the event was to encourage players who participated in the event to boost their courage and appreciate their performances. In the championship, 20 players participated from Bandipora district among them 07 bagged Gold medals and 08 Bronze medals.

SSP Bandipora while interacting with the players congratulated them for their brilliant performance in the championship and for winning 15 medals. SSP lauded their efforts put in at an important event which brought laurels for this district which will help in inspiring the other players too who want to excel in sports. He also advised the participants to stay focussed on their goals and continue to be an inspiration for others.

Later, the players were felicitated with mementos and appreciation certificates by the officers as a mark of appreciation.
