Srinagar: The concluding function/prize distribution ceremony of National Cross Country Skiing Championship Gulmarg 2022 was held at Gulmarg Golf Club on Friday.
Ghulam Jeelani Zargar (Chief Executive Officer Gulmarg Development Authority was the Chief Guest and gave away the Medals/Prizes to meritorious competitors of National Cross Country Skiing Championship events. Besides Olympians Arif Mohammad Khan, Nadeem Iqbal, Nanak Chand, Jagdish Chandra were Honoured and felicitated by Winter Games Association J&K. Budding skiers Ayaan Tariq Zargar and Waseem Bhat who represented the country in recently concluded Asian Youth Skiing Championship at Lebanon were felicitated as well.
Among others, dignitaries like Col. Anil More of HAWS, Javid Rehman Assistant Director Tourism Gulmarg, Mudasir Mir President Snow Shoe Federation of India and Tauseef SHO Gulmarg and Abass Wani President Winter Games Association of Jammu & Kashmir where present in the function.
