Srinagar: Organizational elections of Anjuman Urdu Sahafat, an association of journalists and correspondents affiliated to Urdu journalism in Jammu and Kashmir, were held on Wednesday.
“Members took part in the voting online (WhatsApp) on Wednesday morning. Senior journalists Riyaz Masroor, Haroon Rasheed and Bilal Qureshi acted as observers along with Chief Election Commissioner Manohar Lalgami,” a statement issued here said.
“Former President Riyaz Malik was re-elected as President while Bilal Furqani has been elected as general secretary,” the statement said—(KNO)
