Ramban: A driver was killed after his vehicle rolled down into a deep gorge in the Panthal area of Ramban district on Friday, an official said.
Quoting officials, news agency KNO reported that the driver of a Sumo cab (JK04G-2854) while on way from Jammu to Srinagar lost control over the vehicle. The vehicle fell into a deep gorge.
Soon after the accident, a rescue operation was launched and the injured driver was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, they said, while identifying the driver as Zahoor Ahmad Alaie, son of Feteh Mohammad Alaie of Waripora Baramulla.
