Shopian May 02: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Gazanfar Ali today convened a preparatory meeting of district and sectoral officers in view of the upcoming District Development Board (DDB) meeting to be held at Shopian on 5th May 2018.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, Engineers, besides district and sectoral officers.
During the meeting, DDC reviewed various sectors for the financial year 2016-17, 2017-18, besides, newly proposed plans and schemes for the year 2018-19 for R&B, Education, Health, PHE, Power, Fisheries, Handicraft, and other departments.
In addition, flagship programmes and centrally sponsored schemes including SSA, RMSA, MGNREGA, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and others were also deliberated upon in the meeting. DDC directed the concerned to submit the entire plan with photographs to highlight major achievements of respective sectors under review.
