Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today nominated Zuhaib Yousuf Mir as the district youth president for Srinagar during a party function where many youth activists including some from Kashmiri Pandit community joined the party.
The party also nominated Asif Wangnoo, who recently joined the PDP, as zone coordinator for Zadibal constituency.
A party spokesman said that many prominent youth activists from district Srinagar on Monday joined the People’s Democratic Party including some young Kashmiri Pandit activists.
He said that underscoring the importance syncretic community, Mehbooba Mufti reiterated the importance of strengthening the idea of a secular fabric in Jammu and Kashmir and the country at large.
