After completing all the legal formalities, the girl has been reunited with her family.

Pertinently, the girl had left her home for school on Feb 26, 2022 after she had a quarrel with her parents.

However, when she didn’t return, her mother reported the matter to the SSP, Samba.

She narrated that after school she went to Bari Brahamna but she neither had the resources to return to her house nor sheknew the way to return.

In Bari Brahmana, she came in contact with a good Samaritan lady from Salehar of Arnia, Jammu, who took her along.

The lady wanted to contact the parents of missing girl but the girl was not willing to disclose the mobile number of her parents.

Finally, a team headed by Insp Vijay Kumar Verma, SHO, P/S Ghagwal under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Samba and under the overall command and control of SSP Samba Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, recovered the girl from village Salehar, Arnia.

After her counselling, she has now been safely handed over to her legal guardians.
