Tuesday, May 01: SKCC defeated City Smashers by 14 runs Tuesday here at Amberpora sports field. Earlier, City Smashers elected to bowl first after winning the toss. SKCC, who were asked to bat first after losing the toss seized advantage of the decision as they posted 201 runs in allotted 35 overs. Gh. Hassan (44) and Sajid (43) remained the top-scorers for SKCC.
In reply, City Smashers got off to a good start but fell short of 14 runs with Mujeeb (32) and Junaid (35) playing key knocks. Gh. Hassan was adjudged as man of the match as he picked up 2 wickets and scored 43 runs as well.
