“To show the solidarity with the Security Forces, volunteer J&K youth have collected soil from 75 War Memorials along the Line of Control to remember the supreme sacrifice of the brave Indian Soldiers. The move is to pay tributes to those who have laid down their lives for safety, security and to maintain the peace and sovereignty of India since 1947,” he said.

“Candles were lit in the memory of the fallen soldiers who have sacrificed their lives in safeguarding the nation from nefarious design of Pakistan which is behind its proxies in Jammu and Kashmir.  A large number of J&K youth were present on this occasion with positive influences of the ‘Idea of India’ through these events where the voice of silent majority can be heard and usher into ‘Naya Kashmir’,” he added.
