BARAMULLA, APRIL 30: Motor Vehicle Department organized a motorcycle rally to promote the use of helmet and other safety gears by two-wheeler riders here today.
The motor Cycle rally was flagged off by District Development Commissioner Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash in presence of ARTO Baramulla Noor-u-Din Andrabi from Delina to Sopore.
A large number of volunteers, MVD officials and students participated in the rally. The rally passed through Cheenad, main market Sangrama and concluded at ARTO office Amergahr Sopore.
The objective of the rally was to aware the commuters for using helmets and other safety gears, discourage overspeeding and rash driving by the motorcyclists.
