Srinagar, January 13: Winter Games Association of Jammu and Kashmir (WGAJK) postponed all events which were scheduled to be held this month at Gulmarg in association with J&K Sports Council.
In statement issued here, president WGAJK Abbas Wani said that keeping in view the Covid guidelines, we are postponing all the competitions of Alpine, snowboard and Nordic events for junior and seniors boys and girls for north, south and central districts, which were scheduled to be held at Gulmarg and Pahalgam on 17th, 18th and 20th of January 2022.
“Furthermore, the selection trials of the same events for senior and junior men and women categories scheduled to be held on 28th, 29th and 30th January 2022 at Gulmarg have also been postponed and the new dates for the same shall be notified separately,” he added.
