Winter Games Association of J&K releases annual calendar of activities

Srinagar, Jan 05: The Winter Games Association of Jammu & Kashmir has released its calendar of Winter Sports activities planned for the session 2022.

In a statement issued here, President Winter Games Association of J&K, M. Abbas Wani, said: “All the district-level events and selection trials of different groups shall be held for one day only. The participants having done advance skiing course shall be eligible for the events/trials.”

“All the participants of each category/group shall reports at Gulmarg on scheduled date at 9.30 AM along with personal sports kit, copy of advance course certificate, registration form and DOB proof,” Wani said.

“The selected players four each event shall undergo pre participation coaching camp scheduled to be held at Gulmarg from 31-01-2022 to 04-02-2022 prior to participation in Nationals. Participants of coaching camp shall be provided lodging/boarding facilities by the association,” he said.

“The dates for holding district level/events of Jammu division districts viz Jammu, Udhampur and Doda and UT of J&K Championship shall be finalised later on. However all dates as scheduled above shall be subject to circumstantial changes on short notice if needed,” he added.
