Srinagar: Two policemen were injured as encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Gomander Mohalla Panthachowk of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday.

A senior police officer told GNS that Police had gone there to pick a suspect. As Police team tried to enter the house, a heavy volume of firing came from inside during which two policemen were injured.
